List the assessment methods to be used and the context and resources required for assessment. Copy and paste the relevant sections from the evidence guide below and then re-write these in plain English.
Elements describe the essential outcomes. | Performance criteria describe the performance needed to demonstrate achievement of the element. Where bold italicised text is used, further information is detailed in the range of conditions. |
1. | Identify operational requirements. | 1.1. | Work site specifications are reviewed to identify waste management operational requirements. |
| 1.2. | Client needs and expectations are identified according to operational requirements. |
| 1.3. | Site characteristics and special requirements for waste management are identified. |
| 1.4. | Hazards and risk analysis is conducted to identify and manage or report work health and safety (WHS) and personal protective equipment requirements. |
2. | Organise plant, equipment and materials. | 2.1. | Plant, equipment and material requirements are estimated based on past usage and present needs. |
| 2.2. | Availability of required plant, equipment and material is determined according to operational requirements. |
| 2.3. | Plant and equipment are checked to ensure they are in good working order, and problems are resolved or reported according to manufacturer specifications and organisational requirements. |
3. | Allocate work areas and activities. | 3.1. | Work is scheduled to be completed within time available according to operational requirements. |
| 3.2. | Work is allocated to personnel according to individual licences, capacity and skills to meet scheduled timeframes. |
| 3.3. | Training and assessment opportunities are provided for personnel where skill gaps have been identified according to organisational requirements. |
| 3.4. | Site safety plan is developed to identify site safety features and emergency response procedures. |
| 3.5. | Operational requirements are communicated to personnel according to organisational requirements. |
| 3.6. | Waste management operational documentation is maintained, stored and secured according to organisational requirements. |
